National Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week ran from February 7 through 14 this year. This very special week is a grassroots effort to remind the public about the prevalence of CHDs in their own communities. Helping Hands, Healing Hearts decided to kick-off this important week with a family bowling event at the East Providence Lanes in East Providence, RI. The bowling fun was followed with a pizza party for all those who attended.
